Butterflies
Lepidoptera, or butterflies (Lepidotera) - are so attractive creatures that even people who do not like insects, treat them favorably. A lot has been written about butterflies, but every year it is possible to learn something new from their life or describe new species
About 200,000 species of butterflies are known, all of them characterized by the presence of special flattened hairs on the wings - scales. Often, children think that butterflies are covered with pollen from flowers, and if you wipe it off, then it is easy to sprinkle it on top with a new one, for example, from the stamens of lilies. However, this "pollen" is scales. If you erase them and at the same time ruffle the wings, fragile insects cannot fly and will not live long.
