Zvorykin Boris
Boris Vasilyevich Zvorykin is a Russian artist, graphic ornamentalist, icon painter, translator, one of the most popular masters of the "Russian style" in book illustration of the early 20th century. The artist is known in his homeland to a relatively small circle of art critics and bibliophiles. Meanwhile, at the peak of his creativity he was called "Moscow Bilibin", was appreciated at the imperial court, he painted churches and was widely known for holiday cards with his illustrations, published in large editions.
