Tuula spent his childhood in a large Scandinavian family. These early years had a huge impact on what she loves to paint. Tuula paints with a happy heart. Her brush strokes are smiles and jokes from her happy childhood memories. Her colorful whimsical paintings depict warm family gatherings, childhood experiences, and seasonal activities. The mood captured in her storytelling paintings gently reminds us of the beauty and love around us, as well as the joy of every moment of life. Tuula says: "If a person, looking at my paintings, can plunge into thought and, perhaps, imagine that he is a part of these colorful happy images, then I know that I have achieved my goal."
