Stephen Gjertson
American artist Stephen Gjertson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1949. He studied at a comprehensive school and an art college. The artist is famous for his elegant floral still lifes, he also paints landscapes. Most of his recent works are personal genre paintings with members of his family and friends. His works combine subtle naturalism with great artistic style and balanced design. He has received several awards and has participated in over fifty exhibitions featuring works by contemporary realists and impressionists.
