Robert Mickelsen
American glassblower Robert Mickelsen, at the age of 20, became interested in glass as an artistic material and created his own unique style of "airy" glass sculptures that look weightless, as if woven from cobwebs. Now he is one of the most famous glass craftsmen. He creates glass sculptures of fabulous beauty and sophistication, using both colorless and colored glass in his work. Not only the technique of the author, the skill of execution, but also the flight of imagination, the variety of approaches and themes of sculptures are surprising. Since 1989, his works have been exhibited in the largest art galleries in America and the world, decorate many private collections of art objects.
