Ricardo Chavez-Mendez
Ricardo Chavez Mendez was born in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. He is a self-taught artist who began painting as a child, learning from his mistakes along the way, at the age of 28 he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. There, the artist in all possible ways began to expand his knowledge of painting, steadily developing within the technical framework of the surrealism style. Ricardo is truly an extraordinary artist. His paintings are made in the style of "Curvismo" or "Curvism", the artist studied him independently, so he introduced many innovations there. He is also a master of technique, color and composition. The artist's works are in private collections both nationally and internationally.
