Reint Withaar
Reint Withaar was born in Amsterdam in 1928. His first teacher was his father, and then the war and difficult post-war life. Reint Withaar dreamed of studying at the Academy of Arts, but this dream was not destined to come true. He worked for a long time in various studios as a graphic artist and designer. After a while, he and his wife opened a studio gallery in the popular tourist town of Elburg. All this time, Reint Withaar continued to create. His paintings, filled with sunlight and filled with the pacification and calmness of the Dutch nature, have found a response in the hearts of numerous connoisseurs of his work, owners of art galleries and museums around the world.
