Peter Ellenshaw
Peter Ellenshaw (1913-2007) - Disneyland legend, created the scenery for films. Has worked with many directors, including Walt Disney, Stanley Kubrick, Michael Powell and others. Received an Academy Award for Best Special Visual Effects in Mary Poppins. He also took part in the planning of Disneyland. In 1970, Peter and his family moved to Ireland, where he was exclusively engaged in painting. His work was featured in a special exhibition at the American Embassy in Dublin. Today his paintings can be seen in collections throughout Ireland.
