Mary Jane Q Cross
Mary Jane Q Cross is an American realist painter from New Hampshire. She was born in 1951. 1970-1973. studied at the art school at the Worcester Museum of Art. In 1992. an affliction struck Mary Jane's fingers and she lost her ability to hold a hand. The desire to draw did not leave her, and for more than 5 years she learned to draw in a new way: now she draws with her fingers - 95% writes with her fingers, and 5% - with a brush, using prosthetic devices that she invented herself. She signs her works with a thumbprint turned into the letter "Q". Mary Jane accompanies almost every painting with poetic commentary and thanks God for the opportunity to paint.
