Mark Keathley
In a world of storms and unrest, Mark Keathley gently reminds us of the beauty of the world, of the delightful moments of life that very often go unnoticed by us. Artist Mark Keathley grew up on a family cattle farm in East Texas and as a child loved to wander through the woods and vast fields. He began painting at the age of 5, after he found boxes with paints and brushes in the attic. At the age of 12, he painted his first landscape, according to his recollections the landscape was "too green". At 15, he was presented with a set of acrylics and a wildlife magazine subscription. Since then, he painted almost every day for 12-14 hours a day, 6 days a week.
