Mark Arian
Contemporary American artist Mark Arian was born in 1947 in the western United States. He began to draw in childhood, copying first drawings from books about animals, and then photographs. Mark Arian received his art education in Northwest Missouri at Marisville University. The artist's exceptionally masterful work is the product of an innate artistic talent and a genuine passion for painting tempered by over 30 years of study, observation and work. The artist's intensive use of subtle color variations, creative use of light and shadow and exquisite imagery infuse his paintings with the spirit of life, making them breathtakingly realistic and incredibly beautiful. The artist's paintings are in the permanent collection of the British Museum in London, the Australian Museum and the South Australian Art Gallery.
