Marie Witte
As a young child (Patras, Greece), Marie Witte often drew drawings in the sand with a stick. After becoming an artist, she focused on fashion design and illustration. Marie studied with particular interest the painting techniques of the masters from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century. Some of Mary's early works carry on the tradition of the sixteenth century Flemish painters, while later works speak of the 19th century French and American Impressionists.
