Joe Anna Arnett

Contemporary American artist Joe Anna Arnett specializes in floral still lifes, but occasionally flowers in her paintings give way to vegetables or fruits. The artist also paints landscapes. Jo Anna Arnett earned her BA in Fine Arts from the University of Texas and became Principal Artist of the Denver Exhibition, Historical Public Museum. She is also the author of the book "Luxurious Still Life with Vegetables, Fruits and Flowers in Oil". In 1997, she quit her job and became a professional artist, showing her floral still lifes for the first time in an exhibition at the Denver Museum, and already in 2006 was awarded a solo exhibition at the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
