Jean Baptiste Monnoyer
Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer (1636-1699) was a brilliant master of French still life, best known in the French school of the time. His still lifes were very popular among his contemporaries. The artist worked a lot both to decorate the royal residences and to decorate the castles of the French aristocracy.
