Jakob Bogdany
Jakob Bogdany (Jakob Bogdany) - Hungarian and English painter of the 17th century, the author of still lifes and paintings with exotic birds. Born in Eperjes in the north of the Kingdom of Hungary (now the city of Presov in Slovakia). In 1684, Bogdani went to Amsterdam, where he lived and worked until he moved to London in 1688. In England, he quickly achieved success as a still life painter at the court of Queen Anne. Several of his paintings have become part of the royal collection.
