Helene Beland
Helene Beland (born 1949) is a contemporary Canadian artist born in Montreal. Her artistic talent manifested itself at an early age and Helene began to study what she loved, receiving a bachelor's degree in fine arts. In her works, she uses coal, pastels, oil, red hematite as the main means of expressing the idea of the picture. Portraits, still lifes, landscapes are especially successful. The paintings radiate light, romantic and full of optimism and love of life. The artist exhibits her work both in Canada and in other countries.
