Harold Anderson
Harold Anderson was an American painter and illustrator. Anderson attended the Fenway Art School in Boston, Massachusetts and was one of the most famous and respected character artists in the country. He received recognition for helping young artists and illustrators.
He lived and worked in the Manhattan suburb of New Rochelle, a well-known artist colony and home to many of the leading commercial illustrators of the time, such as Frank and J.C. Leyendecker and Norman Rockwell.
