Evan Wilson
American artist Evan Wilson was born in 1953 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He began to show interest in art from an early age. After leaving school, he studied at the Maryland Institute, College of Art, Baltimore, where he met the renowned realist painter Joseph Sheppard, his lifelong mentor. Evan Wilson currently lives in Hoosick, New York, a scenic upstate location. His early nineteenth-century houses are often the subject of his paintings. He also paints romantic female portraits and beautiful still lifes. The artist's works are included in many public and private collections.
