Eugene Henri Cauchois
Artist Eugene Henri Cauchois (1850 - 1911) was born in the north of France, in Rouen. In his magnificent still lifes there is some reticence, a slight mystery and an airy veil. The sweeping manner of oil painting and the richness of color in Eugene Henri Cauchois's works speak of the strong influence of impressionism on his work. The artist constantly exhibited his works at the Paris Salon, many times received prizes, medals and prizes for his still lifes.
