Emile Munier
Emile Munier (1840-1895) - a remarkable French artist, master of genre painting, lived and worked in Paris. Mounier attended courses in drawing, painting, anatomy and chemistry, and began to seriously study academic painting. His canvases, touching and gentle, seem to radiate light and kindness. The main characters are cute barefoot kids, young girls, funny kittens, dogs. He writes for those who love children and value home comfort. He was called "France's most inspired barefoot singer."
