Daniel Van Der Putten
The fact that this artist is essentially self-taught in his paintings is absolutely not visible. Daniel van der Putten's paintings convey the beauty of landscapes so perfectly that one wants to look at them endlessly.
In his work, he depicts British landscapes in different seasons and demonstrates his ability to convey the colors, shadows and light of picturesque nature.
The artist was born in a small village near Leiden. The merit that he became an artist probably belongs to his mother, who was a professional painter - her work as a portraitist was exhibited both in her native Holland and in America.
The situation only worsened when Daniel Van Der Putten married a Scottish artist whom he managed to get to know while traveling in Australia.
Further creativity was greatly influenced by the works of the legendary Dutch masters. And among them were names famous all over the world. These are Leiden and Rembrandt, as well as the works of lesser-known authors of the Dutch romantic period.
