Carl Valente
Carl Valente was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1928. His artistic ability manifested itself at an early age. Already at the age of 17, he won a competition and received a scholarship and the right to study at the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Art.In the late eighties, using oil as an exclusive material, American impressionist Carl Valente recreated modern depictions of peaceful American rural landscapes in traditional art forms along with English cottages and British countryside villages. Climbing plants entwine everything around with bright shrubs on the frames of the arches, which gives a whimsy to the thatched cottages.
In the 90s, Karl began his magnificent American Houses. This series includes Victorian country homes, New England estates, Midwest lake villages, West log homes, and South Colonial homes.
The artist's landscapes depict different seasons of the year and different color palettes. His art has been admired by millions of painting lovers across the country.
