Carl Mücke
Carl Emil Mücke (1847 - 1923) Mücke Karl Emil. German artist. Was born in Dusseldorf. The son of a famous artist, professor at the Düsseldorf Academy, Heinrich Karl Mücke. He studied with his father and at the Academy, where his teacher was also V. Zon - a representative of Dusseldorf genre painting. Lived and worked in Dusseldorf, specialized in genre painting. Basically, the heroes of his paintings were children and animals. He was an outstanding artist of his kind, although he did not reach the level of his father. Works are kept in museums in Germany and private collections.
