Bill Saunders
Bill Saunders, Canadian artist, was born in Montreal (in 1948). The artist's hand-painted images of the countryside are soft but meticulously detailed. Time, as it were, freezes in the image of the moment that was suddenly snatched by the artist from this time stream and captured in the picture, whether it be a quiet spring Sunday or a crisp snow winter morning. Initially, Bill Saunders painted his works in oils, and later switched to using acrylic, which he considers more suitable for his ultra realistic style.
