Anthonore Christensen
Anthonore Christensen (1849-1926) is a Danish artist who painted still lifes and flower landscapes. She began to participate in exhibitions in 1867, since 1874 she gained fame for her paintings of wild flowers in a natural environment, and not in artificially decorated bouquets, as was fashionable at that time. Anthonore Christensen's works have been auctioned more than 300 times.
