Alexis Joseph Kreyder
Alexis Joseph Kreyder (1839-1912) French artist, one of the most revered by his contemporaries of the masters of floral still life. His work of 1867 "Rose Bush in Autumn" was called by critics one of the best paintings exhibited at the Salon in the last ten years. Kreider's paintings are kept in museums in Paris (Louvre), Strasbourg, Luxembourg, Baltimore and many other museums, as well as in private collections in America and Europe.
