John Sloane is a contemporary American artist living with his wife, son and dog in Harts Haven, USA. He started drawing at a very early age, as soon as he learned to hold a pencil. He did not receive a classical art education, but studied the humanities in college. A favorite form of recreation is long walks with the dog in the neighborhood. The artist continues to delight admirers of his talent with new works, inspired by the beauty of the countryside at different times of the year.
