Gustave Jean Jacquet

French artist Gustave Jean Jacquet (1846-1909). He was first exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1866 with allegorical paintings, but soon after that he switched to portraits and genres, which made him a reputation as one of the best masters. Vitality, expressiveness, fresh and delicately developed color are the main qualities of his works.
